Who We Are

The Power Hawks FRC team is an after-school co-curricular program based out of South River High School, whose mission is to inspire future generations through competitive
robotics and introduce students to FIRST® (For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). . FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), an international organization for high school students to build and program a 125-pound robot completely from scratch. The Power Hawks FRC team supports multiple FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams. FTC is an international organization in which high school students build and program a 18x18x18" robot, with mentors to guide them throughout the processes. The Power Hawks teams runs business programs for both FRC and FTC, with sub-teams including public relations, finance, and events planning. 

The Power Hawks FRC team runs mentors  three FTC teams, three FLL teams, and eleven FLL Jr. teams.
