Who We Are

The Power Hawks Organization is an after-school co-curricular program based out of South River High School, whose mission is to inspire future generations through competitive
robotics and introduce students to FIRST® (For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). The Power Hawks Organization has multiple teams who compete in FIRST. FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), an international organization for high school students to build and program a 125-pound robot completely from scratch, and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), an international organization in which high school students build and program a 18x18x18" robot, with mentors to guide them throughout the processes. The Power Hawks also run business programs for both FRC and FTC, with sub-teams including public relations, finance, and events planning.

The Power Hawks Organization runs one FRC team, three FTC teams, three FLL teams, and eleven FLL Jr. teams.
