What is International Observe the Moon Night?

International Observe the Moon Night is a worldwide celebration one day each year, usually in September or October. Last year on October 5th the Power Hawks were fortunate enough to be invited by NASA to attend this event.

At International Observe the Moon Night we had a blast. We can't wait to go back next year. This year was very special because it is the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 going to the moon. You can learn more about us going to the anniversary of that here. Every year thousands of schools, universities and scientists all come together to observe the moon one night a year. Once again thank you to NASA for inviting us to this amazing event. We can't wait to see you there next year.
